I’m thrilled to share that my work has been accepted into MiniPrint Cymru | Wales for the 2025–26 exhibition. A real milestone in my artistic journey. Three prints of mine will be featured: Home, Commute and Work
The Story Behind the Prints
These three prints together explore working life during the Industrial Revolution, reflecting not just on history but also holding up a mirror to our modern lives. It’s striking how, despite the passing of centuries and seismic changes in the world, some things remain the same. Families then and now pass through the same doorways, heading out to work or returning home.
Reflecting on Routine and Connection
Working on these prints has been a reflective process for me. As someone drawn to folklore, history, and the stories of everyday people, it’s been a way to connect my personal artistic interests with a wider cultural narrative. The Industrial Revolution shaped my local area and its history deeply, and bringing that to life through my artwork feels meaningful and grounding.
Exhibition
MiniPrint Cymru | Wales 2025–26 will open at Mission Gallery in Swansea from November 2025 through January 2026, before touring to Mostyn in Llandudno in March and April 2026. It’s an honour to have my work shown alongside so many talented artists in such prestigious venues.
Final Thoughts
This acceptance feels like a milestone but also a beginning. It’s encouraged me to keep exploring the intersections of history, place, and human experience through my art. I hope viewers will find something familiar and something new in these prints, a connection to the past and a reflection on our present.
Thank you for following my journey. I look forward to sharing more updates as the exhibition approaches.
